Source Dust Suppression (Material Wetting)

  • Apply controlled wetting at the point of loading or discharge to prevent fine particles from becoming airborne

Airborne Dust Suppression (Knockdown and Containment)

Gas Cooling and Conditioning

• Spray water or process liquids into hot gas streams to rapidly reduce temperature, protecting downstream equipment and enabling efficient operation of heat recovery, filtration, and scrubbing systems
• Recover and reuse waste heat by conditioning gas to the ideal temperature for energy recovery systems
• Utilize recycled or lower-quality water for quenching and cooling

Dry Scrubbers

• Capture sulfur oxides using lime slurries or other reagents, converting gaseous pollutants into stable solids for reuse or safe integration into other material streams
• Optimized spray patterns improve reagent utilization, reducing chemical consumption per unit of pollution removed

FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization)

• Spray lime slurry or scrubbing fluids into flue gas to absorb sulfur oxides and generate usable solids such as gypsum for downstream applications rather than disposal
• BETE offers nozzles made of high wear-resistant materials such as silicon carbide (SNBSC, RBSC) and cobalt alloys to withstand erosive scrubbing fluids, extending nozzle life and reducing replacement frequency and material waste

Packed Bed Scrubbers

• Capture and convert acid gases (HCl, H2SO4, HNO3, HF), halogens (Cl2, Br2, F2), and nitrogen compounds into manageable forms for recovery, treatment, or reuse
• Well-distributed sprays support recirculated scrubbing liquors, reducing freshwater use

SCR/SNCR

• Precisely and uniformly deliver ammonia or urea into flue gas to neutralize NOx emissions while maximizing reagent efficiency and minimizing waste

Venturi Scrubbing

• Effectively capture particulates and soluble pollutants through high-velocity turbulence created as gas passes through a narrowed duct section, ensuring thorough gas-scrubbing fluid contact
• Efficient gas-liquid contact supports the recirculation of scrubbing fluids and produces consistent, treatable slurry by-products suitable for beneficial reuse

• Spray liquids to neutralize, transform, or mask odors from products, wastes, process streams, or exhaust gas, enabling safer handling and making it easier to recover or repurpose materials instead of treating them solely as waste

Tank Mixing

• Use strategically placed nozzles to mix, blend, agitate, and homogenize tank contents, maximizing utilization of chemicals, reagents, and raw materials
• Keep solids in suspension to enable more complete reactions, easier recovery of valuable materials, and smoother transfer to downstream processes for reuse or repurposing
• Improve temperature and concentration uniformity for greater reaction efficiency and lower energy and additive use per unit of output

Toxic Gas Mitigation

• Contain toxic gas leaks by enveloping tanks and piping in a protective spray cloud that absorbs escaping gas before it disperses into the atmosphere

Water Wash Injection

• Inject water or process liquids into gas streams to cool, condition, and remove contaminants, preparing gases for downstream recovery or reuse using reclaimed water
