SAM Automatic Variable Air Atomizing Nozzles

External Mix Flat Fan or Full Cone Pneumatic Spray Nozzles
Detail Automatic Spray Pattern Icon.Detail of the Air Atomizing Spray Pattern Icon

DESIGN FEATURES

Precise atomized intermittent spraying and metering of the liquid flow rate

Suitable for all liquids, including viscous media above 200 cP

Separate atomizing and fan air lines provide variable coverage and fine control of drop size without affecting liquid flow rates. Higher atomizing air pressure yields finer drop size; higher fan air pressure yields broader patterns.

Pneumatically controlled shut-off and built-in clean-out

Liquid flow rates are independent of air

HOW SPRAY PATTERN IS ACHIEVED

Air atomizing nozzles atomize fluids by combining liquid and compressed air/gas at low pressures to form a very fine spray. They can form either a fan or cone spray pattern, depending on the design of the nozzle

The air and liquid streams exit the nozzle independently through each orifice

Air and liquid flow rates can be controlled independently, allowing precise metering of the liquid
